Chief Purpose of this position

The Department of Family Medicine and Population Health at VirginiaCommonwealth University is currently recruiting for a BC/BE familyphysician at our This position is located at VCU Health FamilyMedicine at William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA. We are seekinga Full-Time physician that will be involved in medical studentteaching and could participate in departmental research programs.This position will come with a competitive salary and generousbenefit package as well as the ability to earn clinicalbonuses.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality of primary care services to new andestablished patients in the community.
• Medical student teaching in a clinical setting
• Research and scholarly work according to training andinterest
• Serve on hospital or departmental committees whenappropriate.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine
• Eligible for full staff privileges at VCU Health System
• Eligible for medical licensure in Virginia
• Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment ofrespect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty,staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or acommitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.
