Work-Life Balance.Full-time positions also offer competitive salary and benefits, 401K with employer match, discretionary bonuses, vacation and sick time, and a hybrid work arrangement.About the RoleResponsibilities may include, but not limited to:Act as a liaison between the design team and the client; represent Kahn throughout the projectManage internal job coordination meetings, manage drawing distribution process, and maintain project filesRecord and distribute meeting minutes, organize, and schedule meetings; manage record keeping processesManage the distribution of RFI & Submittals, ensure timely responses, manage documents in Newforma database, and interface and collaborate with Construction Managers and/or ContractorsManage design team activities (scope, schedule, and budget hours); develop design schedulesManage A/E activities during the Bid & Award process; provide bid analysis to confirm scope is covered by documentsManage construction administration process, represent the A/E in OAC meetings, conduct site visits for quality monitoring and develop site reports, review pay applications for approval, coordinate the project close-out processManage subconsultants and ensure proper design team integrationParticipate in quality assurance process, review test reports and document deficienciesInterface with code officials and manage subconsultant activitiesSupport the Project Principal (managing, scheduling, estimating, reporting)Provide cost estimating of construction projects up to ten million dollarsDevelop schedules in Microsoft Project, Primavera, or other scheduling softwareRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Construction Management, or relevant Architectural/Engineering studiesMinimum 15 years' experience working in the construction industry, or relevant A/E design experienceExcellent communication skills; must be able to speak, read, and write well in the English languageDemonstrated proficiency in implementing project reporting controlsExperience working in Vision software programSelf-starter with high degree of problem-solving skillsDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook)Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with proven ability to manage multiple projectsPeople skills, ability to organize and guide others in decision making processesAbility to work independently and collaborativelyMust be able to prioritize workload and meet deadlinesHigh degree of professionalism and integrityStrong work ethic, reliableStrong analytical skillsInterested candidates should submit a resume to View email address on click.appcast.io Kahn Associates is an equal opportunity employer and encourages candidates from all backgrounds to apply.
