Maintain sterilization equipment and monitor containers to ensure cleanliness and proper functioning. Decontaminate soiled instruments and equipment following established safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines. Organize and correct instrument sets using count sheets and tracking systems to ensure readiness for procedures. Audit peer quality assurance programs to uphold high standards of care and operational excellence. What minimum requirements you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the InternationalAssociation of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM) Preferred. Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Certification Boardfor Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) Preferred. Education High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
