Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Supervising Pharmacist to lead our Coney pharmacy location. This pivotal role combines clinical expertise with strong leadership capabilities to ensure the delivery of exceptional pharmaceutical care while managing daily operations and developing a high-performing pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive pharmacy experience, demonstrated leadership skills, and a passion for patient care excellence.

As the Supervising Pharmacist, you will serve as the primary pharmacy leader at our Coney location, responsible for overseeing all aspects of pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing staff performance, and maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and service quality. This position requires a strategic thinker who can balance operational efficiency with compassionate patient care while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management

• Provide direct supervision and leadership to pharmacy staff, including staff pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support personnel
• Recruit, hire, train, and onboard new pharmacy team members, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary for success
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and develop individualized professional development plans for team members
• Create and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during all operating hours while managing labor costs effectively
• Foster a collaborative team environment that promotes open communication, mutual respect, and continuous improvement
• Mentor and coach staff pharmacists, supporting their professional growth and encouraging pursuit of advanced certifications
• Address employee relations issues promptly and professionally, implementing corrective actions when necessary

Clinical and Operational Oversight

• Oversee all prescription verification and dispensing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations
• Provide comprehensive medication therapy management and patient counseling services
