This position allows you to work remotely, providing flexibility while ensuring a high level of connectivity with your colleagues and patients. Our community health clinic offers a virtual platform that facilitates seamless communication, enabling you to engage effectively with patients through individual and group therapy sessions. You will benefit from a structured work schedule typically consisting of Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as needed to accommodate patient demands.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients' psychological conditions, determining appropriate therapeutic strategies.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, preferences, and diagnoses.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy, to deliver effective interventions.
• Lead individual therapy sessions and facilitate group interventions, fostering a safe space for emotional exploration and personal growth.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, integrating medication management and therapeutic services.
• Assist patients in emergency situations through crisis intervention, providing immediate support and stabilization as needed.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment avenues, and relevant community resources to empower recovery.
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards by maintaining accurate and confidential patient documentation.
• Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and ongoing professional development sessions to enhance clinical skills.
• Keep current with trends, research, and regulatory changes within the mental health field to provide optimal care.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you'll be working with a diverse population of patients within our community health clinic. This includes individuals experiencing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, personality disorders, and trauma-related issues. Your role will be pivotal in guiding these patients toward improved mental wellness and resilience.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

• Two years of post-licensure experience working in mental health settings is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and create effective treatment plans.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in technology relevant to telehealth services.
• Strong crisis intervention skills, enabling you to respond effectively to urgent patient needs.
• Excellent communication skills to build rapport and therapeutic relationships with clients.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
