Role Overview The Registered Nurse in the High-Risk Cardiology unit provides specialized patient care for cardiac conditions such as CAD, HTN, arrhythmias, heart failure, and post-procedure management. Responsibilities Include Delivering patient and family-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Educating patients on illness management, medication, and post-discharge care. Ensuring patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance. Developing and documenting individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team and patients. Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers. Qualifications And Skills Minimum of an RN license with a nursing diploma or associate's degree; bachelor's degree preferred. No prior experience required; less than two years of experience preferred. Certification in BLS, ACLS, and extensive EKG certifications are valued. Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaborative skills.
