High-Risk Cardiology - Clinical Nurse (Day Shift) → Clinical Nurse - Cardiology (Day Shift)

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in a high-risk cardiology unit, managing complex cardiac conditions such as CAD, HTN, arrhythmias, heart failure, and post-procedure care. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team including Hospitalist Attendings and cardiology specialists to ensure comprehensive care. Key Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to nursing standards. Develop and document individualized care plans, coordinating across care settings. Educate patients and families on managing illnesses, medication administration, and post-treatment needs. Promote patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance. Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations. Qualifications & Skills Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Bachelors preferred). Active RN license; no supervisory experience required. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and extensive EKG training preferred. Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and focus. Less than 2 years of experience preferred for Bachelor's degree holders; entry-level candidates eligible.
