Vehicle Operations Logistics Specialist II

Compensation Hourly base pay rate is $18.22 - $27.36/hour. The rate may vary within this range depending on the location of the position and the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Additional compensation such as commission or incentive programs may be available. Key Responsibilities Demonstrate proficiency in making real‑time phone calls through the recorded line to verify vehicle status with pickup sites Build relationship with Manheim Auction commercial team and management Show proficiency with communication via recorded line phone system Manage email boxes for multiple locations and collaborate on regional emails Enter all manual orders and process other AS400 system orders Manage escalated Client Success VINs with peers and agents Monitor holds and verification delays Dispatch negotiation and apply sales tactics to increase margin Use AutoIMS for transit delay holds, cancellations, and ETA’s Follow up with carriers on several VINs daily Process fees and post assessorial charges Request hold‑harmless releases Investigate kickbacks of VINs by carriers to re‑dispatch units Hold carriers accountable to their plans Create and manage corrective action for vendors Monitor and correct order entry failures throughout the day Track margin requirements relevant to the position Correct master data files for location errors Measure performance using analytics for clients and vendors Report performance results to senior management and executive leaders Compile vehicle transportation data and generate reports Follow all job‑related duties as directed by supervisor Think outside the box to solve problems quickly Required Qualifications 1-3 years administrative experience (automotive industry preferred) Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word Ability to work independently in a matrix environment to deliver results Excellent customer service and multi‑tasking skills High attention to detail and precise data entry Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work with a high sense of urgency in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment High School Diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check and drug test Preferred Qualifications Some college education 1+ years’ experience in transportation field or automotive auction house 1+ years’ experience in sales or call center Drug Testing Clearance of a pre‑employment drug test is required.
