Lead Maintenance TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled and dependable Lead Maintenance Technician to support maintenance operations across our residential portfolio. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, can operate independently, and helps keep things running smoothly across multiple properties. You'll play a key role in completing service requests, executing unit turns, and supporting overall property upkeep while assisting in coordinating day-to-day maintenance activities.Compensation and BenefitsBase Salary: $60K–$65K/year commensurate with experienceHealth InsurancePTO and Holiday PayQuarterly Bonus StructureKey ResponsibilitiesMaintenance ExecutionPerform a wide range of maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairsComplete service requests in a timely and professional mannerAssist with and execute the Make-Ready/Turn Process, including repairs, cleaning coordination, and final unit inspectionsTroubleshoot maintenance issues and implement effective solutionsWork Order & Inventory SupportTrack and update work orders to ensure accuracy and completionAssist with maintaining organized inventory and suppliesCommunicate material needs to ensure jobs are completed efficientlyVendor & Site SupportCoordinate with vendors and contractors as neededHelp ensure quality and safety standards are met on all work performedTeam SupportServe as a resource for other maintenance techniciansAssist with training and onboarding of new team members as neededHelp maintain a positive, team-oriented work environmentProperty Upkeep & InspectionsConduct routine inspections of units and common areasIdentify and address maintenance needs proactivelyMaintain clean, safe, and well-maintained property conditionsOn-Call & Emergency ResponseParticipate in on-call rotations, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysRespond to maintenance emergencies in a timely mannerMinimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training a plus3+ years of property maintenance experience (multifamily preferred)Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairsEPA certification preferred (or ability to obtain)Ability to troubleshoot and work independentlyStrong time management and organizational skillsBasic understanding of safety practices and OSHA standardsValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to be on-call and respond to after-hours needsPhysical RequirementsFrequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crawl, or crouchMust be able to lift or move up to 50 poundsUse of ladders and power toolsAbility to operate a vehicle during work hours
