Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate patient mental health, establishing strong rapport and trust with each client. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based methodologies, including modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Engage in regular collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and fellow social workers, to provide holistic and integrated care. Participate in case consultations and peer review meetings, contributing insights and sharing best practices to enhance overall service delivery. Educate clients and their families about mental wellness, treatment options, and community resources, promoting informed decision-making. Continuously explore and apply relevant research findings to improve therapeutic techniques and ensure effective patient outcomes. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will primarily serve diverse individuals facing an array of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and more. Your compassionate approach will play a vital role in building relationships with clients from all walks of life, fostering trust and facilitating healing. By actively listening and responding to their unique needs, you will help clients navigate their mental health journeys and empower them to achieve their goals. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required. A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York, demonstrating your commitment to upholding the highest professional standards. A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, providing you with the practical skills and confidence necessary to support a diverse clientele effectively. Proficiency in solution-oriented psychotherapy interventions, allowing you to tailor your therapeutic approach to meet individual client needs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish effective therapeutic relationships and facilitate open discussions with clients. Ability to think critically and solve problems, helping clients navigate complex emotional landscapes while guiding them towards positive outcomes. Experience working collaboratively in a team-focused environment, valuing the contributions of fellow professionals to deliver comprehensive client care. Preferred Experience Experience with telehealth platforms and remote counseling, given the evolving demands of mental health service delivery. Knowledge of community resources and support services that can assist clients outside of therapy. Familiarity with cultural competency practices to address diverse populations effectively. Compensation and Benefits At Inner Horizon Counseling, we recognize and reward your hard work with a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 annually.
