Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center is located in the vibrant city of Buffalo, NY, known for its rich history and community spirit. The center is designed to provide a conducive healing environment, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and therapeutic tools. You will work onsite, affording you the opportunity to engage directly with your patients and make immediate, tangible impacts on their recovery journeys. Your typical work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional flexibility required to accommodate the unique needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, concentrating on improving their mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities, focusing on facilitating pain relief and enhancing physical well-being.
• Provide education to patients about proper body mechanics, effective exercise techniques, and home exercise programs to promote recovery.
• Administer treatments such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, ensuring patient safety and effective outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, including tracking improvements in range of motion, strength, and function.
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure all equipment and supplies are organized and ready for therapy sessions.
• Collaborate intently with an interdisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Foster a supportive environment by providing emotional encouragement to patients during their rehabilitation process.
• Uphold ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality, ensuring that all interactions respect patients' rights and privacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Physi Core Solutions, you will engage with a diverse patient population, including children in pediatric rehabilitation, older adults in geriatric care, and athletes in sports injury rehabilitation. Your work will be instrumental in helping patients regain independence and enhance their quality of life. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
• A valid state license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York.

Compensation and Benefits
