Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Emergency Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a high-acuity, fast-paced ER setting.
• Float frequently to various units to meet staffing needs across the facility.
• Provide care to patients with a broad spectrum of medical and surgical diagnoses.
• Manage complex conditions including cardiac, renal, and psychiatric illnesses.
• Ensure patient safety and implement de-escalation techniques for behavioral health conditions.
• Utilize EPIC systems for accurate and efficient charting.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification is required; ACLS and CPI are preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in a large, urban hospital environment.
• Experience in managing drips and complex cases required.
• EPIC charting experience is necessary.
• Comfortable caring for behavioral health patient populations.
• Pending Nebraska RN license accepted with stipulations.
