Regional Vaccine Medical Science Liaison Director

Job Description Regional Medical Scientific Director (Medical Science Liaison) – Vaccines – covers Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Louisiana, and Arkansas. Responsibilities Develop professional rapport and engage with national and regional scientific leaders to provide balanced scientific information on vaccine‑preventable diseases and Company products. Conduct peer‑to‑peer scientific discussions and maintain a reliable presence with SLs. Gather feedback, data, or information during routine activities to inform Company understanding of medical and scientific needs. Maintain current knowledge of the dynamic scientific and clinical environment in the Company’s Areas of Interest (AOI). Address scientific questions and direct SL inquiries that fall outside the Regional Medical Scientific Director scope to appropriate Company resources. Engage in scientific congresses and medical meetings to facilitate data exchange. Initiate and support research discussions, including investigator‑sponsored studies, and assess alignment with Company research strategies. Recommend study sites and identify potential investigators for phase II–IV clinical development programs, conduct Site Initiation Visits, and address investigator questions. Qualifications & Skills MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, or DNP. Minimum 3 years of experience in vaccines and vaccine‑preventable diseases beyond terminal degree program. Ability to conduct doctoral‑level discussions with key external stakeholders. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and networking skills. Comprehensive knowledge of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and related regulations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in field‑based medical affairs and therapeutic area expertise is preferred. Demonstrated record of scientific/medical publications and research experience. Travel Requirements Up to 50% travel, including overnight stays. Salary and Benefits Salary range: $190,800.00 – $300,300.00. The employee is eligible for an annual bonus and long‑term incentive, if applicable.
