Job Responsibilities

• Design Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and create tailored therapeutic plans that empower them to reach their functional goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based interventions to enhance patients' physical abilities, cognitive functioning, and activities of daily living
• Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and their families various therapy techniques to facilitate ongoing improvement at home
• Document and Evaluate Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on track

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Continuing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• Certification via NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) required
