Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and assessments, including crisis interventions and follow-up care for patients.

• Determine and coordinate the appropriate mental health care for patients, ensuring a tailored approach to treatment.

• Complete required documentation and statistical reports, maintaining accurate records of patient interactions and progress.
\n
• Collaborate with the Department of Correction to secure patient access, appropriate housing, and treatment dispositions.
\n
• Manage patient care alongside other institutional programs to deliver an integrated treatment approach.
\n
• Lead group therapy sessions on mental health observation units, fostering a safe and supportive environment for participants.
\n
• Participate in clinical supervision sessions on a weekly basis, ensuring continuous professional development and quality patient care.

• Engage in case conferences to discuss treatment plans and adapt approaches for patients receiving mental health treatment.

• May conduct psychological testing when assigned, enhancing diagnostic accuracy and treatment planning.

• Supervise social work interns or student volunteers, offering mentorship and guidance as they navigate their roles.

• Other duties as directed by the Unit Chief, Assistant Unit Chief, or Clinical Supervisor, to support seamless operations.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Licensure in the state of Washington, such as LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT.

• A Master's degree or doctorate in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.

• A minimum of two years of full-time, paid, professional experience providing direct client care in a behavioral health setting.

• Three additional years of post-licensure experience, demonstrating expertise in clinical practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
