JOB SUMMARY The Project Manager II is responsible for the end‑to‑end management of projects with a Total Contract Value (TCV) ranging from $500K to $1Mn. This role involves managing projects based on deliverables or outcome‑based models, ensuring the agreed scope, timelines, and costs are met. The Project Manager II is accountable for project success, meeting acceptance criteria, and enhancing customer satisfaction through effective stakeholder relationships, regular communication, and proactive risk/issue management. Key Responsibilities Perform end-to-end management of a single or portfolio of projects with TCV $500K - $1Mn. Deliver projects based on agreed scope, within timelines and budget, ensuring success criteria are met and customer satisfaction is enhanced. Identify key stakeholders and establish/maintain positive business relationships. Maintain regular communication with customers, partners, and suppliers, addressing needs with empathy. Define project activities, responsibilities, critical milestones, resources, skills needs, interfaces, and budget, optimizing costs and time utilization. Anticipate and manage risks by applying suitable risk management strategies and developing contingency plans. Define and implement appropriate governance models. Plan and implement metrics‑driven management to quantitatively assess project health. Orchestrate projects to develop or implement new processes to meet business needs. Effectively implement software delivery methodologies and instill customer confidence. Build, manage, and mentor high‑performing teams, fostering engagement and developing team capabilities. Adopt and build software engineering best practices. Conduct requirements analysis, elicitation, scope control, and prioritization. Drive the creation of common standards and solution artifacts. Partner with customers to define and elicit requirements. Manage customer expectations through pre‑planned deliverables. Conduct impact analysis of scope changes and negotiate prioritization. Consolidate, evaluate, and validate estimates at a solution level. Review, validate, and negotiate estimates across service lines. Conduct resource planning, including pyramid and people development. Analyze impact of changes on estimates and resource loading. Identify roles and skills required for projects based on constraints and KPIs. Identify and plan end‑to‑end activities to meet project acceptance criteria. Estimate work, plan, and track activities closely, reporting progress regularly. Proactively identify and track dependencies impacting project KPIs. Identify and track project risks and issues, communicating impacts to stakeholders. Define RACI charts and communication plans. Ensure stakeholder needs, concerns, or complaints are understood and addressed. Define and agree on the project test approach. Support system integration testing. Review and mentor the team during test execution. Support defining test strategy and scenarios. Prioritize defects based on criticality and severity and participate in triage meetings. Analyze root causes of defects. Ensure and drive the configuration management process. Define/adopt appropriate tooling strategies for projects. Guide teams in developing efficient and high‑quality work products. Create continuous quality improvement plans and define QA processes. Tailor quality guidelines to meet specific project requirements. Guide team members in research to stay abreast of business environments and competitive landscapes. Understand how proposed solutions meet client requirements. Understand customer technology landscapes and map business requirements to technology. Set expectations with customers regarding technology. Analyze project profitability and create profitability sheets. Carry out basic deal pricing and apply project principles for profitability improvement. Define pricing models for medium complex projects and conduct estimations for complex projects. Review simple proposals and understand pricing strategies. Establish KM plans and platforms for knowledge sharing and onboarding. Ensure project learnings are contributed to the KM repository. Comply with account management activities and KPIs. Write contracts mitigating potential risks. Collaborate with other projects and enabling functions to deliver value. Present proposed solutions to customers, highlighting benefits and roadmaps. Define Win Themes and carve out simple solutions or POCs. Review proposals for completeness. Review other project artifacts and participate in PM forums. Adopt learnings and methodologies from other projects. Continuously enhance knowledge of engineering methodologies and concepts. Implement a framework to assess and enhance team skill levels. Nurture innovation within the team and provide feedback for growth. Ability to define RACI charts and communication plans. Experience ensuring stakeholder needs are understood and addressed. Ability to define and agree on the project test approach.
