About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner for an 80-day assignment in Arizona, starting Sep 14, 2026. This role involves providing essential care within an adolescent inpatient psychiatry unit, managing patients through 2-month cycles with standard daily shifts from 8 AM to 5 PM. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in patient assessment and treatment planning for adolescents facing various mental health challenges including suicide ideation, depression, and anxiety.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage a caseload of typically 8 adolescent patients within an inpatient psychiatry unit.
• Oversee patient care throughout 2-month treatment cycles, from admission to discharge.
• Provide comprehensive psychiatric care for adolescents presenting with mental health challenges such as suicide ideation, depression, and anxiety.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide medication management as needed.
