Michael Anthony’s Cucina Italiana, located on the south end of Hilton Head Island, SC, established in 2002, operates a fine dining Italian restaurant, café, cooking school, specialty market, event, and catering services. We are an independent family-owned business in the process of expanding our operations. We are currently seeking a reliable and versatile Fine Dining Server to join our team!
About the role
Our Fine Dining Servers deliver an elevated, world-class experience to guests in our main dining room. You aren't just taking orders—you are a culinary guide, sharing the story behind our hand-crafted pastas, veal, and seafood dishes while executing flawless, polished fine-dining steps of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guided Hospitality: Provide warm, sophisticated, and attentive service, curating exceptional multi-course dining experiences.
- Expert Knowledge: Maintain deep knowledge of our upscale Italian menu, preparation methods, daily specials, and extensive Italian wine list to make authoritative pairing recommendations.
- Polished Service: Execute immaculate table maintenance, including synchronized clearing, crumbing, and professional wine presentation and pouring.
- Collaboration: Communicate precisely with the kitchen and food runners to time courses perfectly for an unhurried, yet seamless meal.
Qualifications:
- Previous professional front-of-house experience in a fine-dining or high-end upscale restaurant.
- Deep passion for and foundational knowledge of Italian cuisine and Italian wine regions/varietals.
- Impeccable grooming, communication skills, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining a calm, welcoming presence.
