Job Title : Plumbing Designers, BIM/VDC coordinators
Locations : Houston, TX close to 610 loop on North side
Years of experience: Our client is hiring across entry, experienced and senior levels in this skill-set.
Overview :
Join a premier AEC services firm with a strong presence on a national scale. They specialize in complex construction projects specifically around HVAC, piping, plumbing . We are looking for expertise in detailing, design, BIM and VDC with software like Revit, bluebeam and navisworks .
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop constructible models for DWV (Drain, Waste, Vent), mechanical piping, plumbing, and process piping systems.
- Collaborate with project teams, including project managers, field supervision, fabrication teams, and field installation teams .
- Attend coordination meetings with clients and provide technical support to ensure smooth project execution.
- Work closely with architects, MEP engineers, and other trades to ensure seamless design integration.
- Prepare finalized models for fabrication spooling and generate shop drawings for field installations.
- Create TFL files for field layout and assist with the creation of Revit families as needed.
- Uphold high standards of quality in all deliverables, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Seeking entry, mid & senior level candidates
- AEC or MEP experience - can't be pure oil and gas/plant/etc
- Strong proficiency in Navisworks, Revit, and AutoCAD .
- Must have exposure in either piping, plumbing, or HVAC
