Human Resources Manager

I'm partnering with a major Tier 1 Automotive Supplier on a search for a Plant HR Manager at their North Carolina manufacturing facility. This is a fully onsite role acting as a key strategic partner to plant leadership. What you'll be doing: Serving as the primary HR partner and point of contact for plant leadership, aligning HR strategy with operational objectives Acting as a trusted advisor on complex employee relations matters including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions Leading recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives to align staffing with production and business needs Coaching managers on employee relations, performance management, and corrective action processes Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws including OSHA, FMLA, ADA, and EEO Analyzing HR metrics and building data driven action plans to improve workforce performance, engagement, and retention Managing training and development initiatives to build associate capabilities Mentoring and developing the site HR team Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration What we’re looking for: 7+ years of HR leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong background in labor relations, associate engagement, and performance management In depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills Proven ability to build trust at all levels of the organization Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
