Work Environment

This position is centered around providing onsite home care services, which means the Physical Therapist will travel to various patient locations throughout Charlottesville. The role demands adaptability, as therapists will encounter diverse home environments and requirements. With a work schedule that traditionally runs Monday through Friday, opportunities may also arise for weekend availability to meet patient needs. Our Clinical Team works collaboratively to ensure that every patient receives personalized, high-quality therapeutic interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize a variety of physical therapy treatment techniques, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities that promote healing and recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and lifestyle adjustments that support overall wellness and recovery.
• Document patient progress and outcomes accurately in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Contribute to departmental success through engagement in staff management practices, cost management, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent education.

Compensation and Benefits
