Work Environment

This position is geared towards full-time professionals who will work directly with patients in their homes. This onsite setting allows for an intimate and tailored approach to patient care, giving therapists the opportunity to develop strong personal connections with their clients. You will work Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, accommodating patients in the soothing environment of their own homes while using innovative treatment methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions to develop personalized treatment plans that focus on their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Provide targeted therapeutic exercises and utilize manual therapy techniques to improve mobility and alleviate pain.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, allowing you to devote significant time and attention to each patient.
• Educate patients about their conditions and the therapeutic processes involved in their recovery.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically Web PT, to document treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes efficiently.
• Promote non-surgical treatment options that prioritize functional improvement and pain management.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure comprehensive medical oversight.
• Regularly evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.
• Encourage health and wellness through customized fitness programs designed to enhance strength, balance, and coordination.
• Stay updated on the latest physical therapy techniques and research to incorporate best practices into patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Spring Mountain Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist license in Virginia, with no history of disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and modalities.
• Strong background in developing and implementing exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs and goals.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for effective record-keeping and documentation.

• Previous experience in home care or outpatient settings, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
