Work Environment

Your workplace, located in beautiful Charlottesville, Virginia, is a state-of-the-art outpatient office designed to facilitate optimal patient care. With a supportive team atmosphere, you will work alongside diverse healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and rehabilitation specialists, ensuring a holistic approach to patient recovery. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical condition and develop tailored individualized treatment plans that focus on their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Administer various therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to enhance recovery and improve function.
• Maintain a manageable case load that allows for in-depth evaluations and follow-ups, ensuring patients receive adequate time and attention during each session.
• Utilize EMR software, particularly WebPT, to document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes with precision and accuracy.
• Instruct patients on safe and effective exercise techniques, monitor their performance, and adjust programs as necessary based on progress evaluated during sessions.
• Actively educate patients and their families about recovery processes, preventative measures, and the importance of a healthy lifestyle to facilitate sustained progress.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and collaborate with other professionals in the development of interventional plans.
• Continuously evaluate patient outcomes and modify treatment strategies to ensure the highest standard of care.
• Document all services and progress in compliance with clinic protocols, ensuring transparency and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
