Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations, including the review of relevant medical histories and conducting specific assessments to inform individualized treatment plans.

• Clearly communicate evaluation findings and collaboratively establish treatment goals with patients and their families, ensuring a shared understanding of the rehabilitation process.

• Implement and adapt treatment protocols effectively based on ongoing assessments and patient needs, making data-driven adjustments to care as necessary.

• Consult with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to facilitate comprehensive updates in patient care, recognizing when to modify treatment plans based on patient progress.

• Accurately document patient care activities, maintaining meticulous records that reflect each patient's journey, including evaluations, treatment progress, and discharge planning.

• Demonstrate excellent time management skills to achieve productivity expectations and maintain an organized schedule, ensuring timely patient care and effective communication.

• Participate actively in the collection and analysis of patient feedback data to enhance service delivery and contribute to hospital marketing and outreach efforts.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required to ensure foundational knowledge and skill.

• Must possess an active state license to practice physical therapy, as mandated by Virginia state laws.

• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association is essential for all healthcare professionals in our clinics.
