Location: Kansas City, Missouri

Salary: $90,000–$100,000 per year, based on experience

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Physical Therapist for a full-time role in a modern outpatient orthopedic clinic in Kansas City, Missouri. This position focuses on helping patients improve strength, mobility, balance, movement quality, and daily function.

You will work with patients across a wide age range, from adolescents to older adults, treating primarily orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. This role offers a steady patient volume, a team-based clinic environment, and schedule options that support both patient care and work-life balance.

Preferred Work Schedule Options

Option 1: Four 10-Hour Days, Preferred

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• Tuesday off each week

Option 2: Monday–Friday Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Clinic Information

• Patient Volume: 7–15 patients per day
• Clinic Volume: Approximately 160–190 patient visits per week
• Clinical Team: 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants
• EMR System: WebPT
• Patient Age Range: 11 to 90 years old
• Primary Caseload: Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and identify physical therapy needs
• Create individualized treatment plans based on diagnosis, goals, and function
• Treat orthopedic injuries, musculoskeletal pain, post-surgical needs, and mobility concerns
• Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, balance training, mobility work, and functional rehab
• Monitor progress and update care plans when appropriate
• Educate patients on home exercises, recovery expectations, and safe movement strategies
• Document evaluations, treatment notes, and progress updates in WebPT
• Work with PTAs and clinical team members to support consistent care

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
• Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred, but not required
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills
• Comfortable treating patients across different ages and activity levels
