Position: Quality Manager The Quality Manager is responsible for leading and maintaining the company’s quality management systems, ensuring products, processes, and documentation meet internal standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory or certification requirements. This role oversees quality control activities, drives corrective and preventive actions, supports audits, and partners with operations, sales, purchasing, and production teams to resolve quality issues and improve overall process consistency. The Quality Manager also plays a key role in promoting a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction. This includes monitoring quality metrics, identifying trends, training employees on quality procedures, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring that quality concerns are addressed timely and effectively. The position requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, problem-solving ability, and the confidence to work cross-functionally to uphold company standards. Responsibilities: Maintain and improve the company’s Quality Management System. Ensure products, processes, and documentation meet internal, customer, and regulatory requirements. Lead internal audits, customer audits, and corrective action follow-up. Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective/preventive actions. Monitor quality metrics and report trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. Partner with operations, sales, purchasing, and warehouse teams to resolve quality concerns. Review and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, records, and inspection documentation. Support employee training on quality standards, procedures, and expectations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen consistency, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Supervise the quality team to ensure they are meeting the company standards for employee performance and adhering to company directed quality control requirements Develop and implement quality processes to ensure final product meets or exceeds industrial customer and Government standards Develop, write, and/or review FAT, PPAP, AS9100 and other reports to ensure accuracy and acceptance by the end customer Collaborate with the upper management team to set quality standards and to achieve quality management goals Identify, implement, and improve quality control processes to ensure criteria are met that meet or exceed customer, industry, government, statutory and regulatory requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations, quality management, supply chain, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered. 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, operations, manufacturing, distribution, or a related environment. Prior experience managing or maintaining a Quality Management System, preferably ISO 9001 or similar. Strong knowledge of quality processes, inspection standards, corrective action, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement practices. Experience leading internal audits, customer audits, supplier audits, or compliance reviews. Ability to read and interpret specifications, work instructions, customer requirements, and technical documentation.
