Hendrick Honda (South Blvd) – Service Advisor Location: 8901 South Boulevard, Charlotte, North Carolina 28273 Job Summary In this role, you will serve as the vital link between customers and our service technicians, ensuring a seamless and positive service experience. Your automotive knowledge combined with your customer service skills will drive customer satisfaction and loyalty for our dealership's success. Key Responsibilities Work with customers and technicians to identify required maintenance. Advise customers on necessary and recommended services. Offer additional services and repairs to customers. Compute cost of replacement parts and labor, estimate the cost of mechanical, electrical, or other repairs. Enter itemized estimates on service order and explain estimates to customers. Schedule appointments with customers. Meet dealership’s standards for repair and order production. Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) at or above company standards. Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area. Participate in required training. Record all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system. Follow company safeguards, policies and procedures, and all applicable safety rules. Demonstrate company core values and comply with company policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (GED); Associate, Bachelor’s, or higher degree preferred. 1–3 years of experience (3–5 or 5+ are acceptable); proven dealership experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or similar role. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures, including transmissions, oil changes, tire services, alignments, suspension, brakes, and diesel engine diagnostics. Familiarity with Honda brand standards and automotive software such as Reynolds & Reynolds (a plus). Demonstrated ability to upsell services while maintaining excellent customer service standards with honesty and transparency. Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues to customers of all backgrounds. Valid driver’s license; Automobile Salesperson License is preferred. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and knowledge of dealership management system. Ability to process payments accurately and responsibly.
