Staff Accountant

About the Role We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Controller, this role will play a key part in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the Company's financial records while supporting the month-end close process, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit activities. What You’ll Do Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities Prepare and post journal entries Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Prepare financial schedules and supporting documentation for reporting and audits Analyze account activity and investigate variances and discrepancies Assist with inventory and operational accounting reconciliations Partner with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Chargebacks teams to ensure financial accuracy Support internal controls, process improvements, and documentation initiatives Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as needed What Success Looks Like Month-end close activities are completed accurately and on schedule Account reconciliations are timely, organized, and well-supported Financial records are maintained with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Issues and discrepancies are identified proactively and resolved efficiently Strong partnerships are built across Finance and other business functions Opportunities to improve processes and strengthen controls are identified and implemented Who You Are Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 3+ years of accounting experience Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Experience supporting month-end close and general ledger accounting Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and accounting systems Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and collaboration skills Experience within consumer products, wholesale, apparel or licensing industries Experience supporting external audits Why Join Us Opportunity to work directly with Finance leadership and gain broad accounting experience Exposure to a growing consumer products business with leading retail and licensing partners Collaborative and entrepreneurial culture where contributions are valued Opportunity to influence processes and drive continuous improvement Orly-Corp. provides base salary ranges for all U.S. positions in accordance with applicable laws. The expected base salary range for this role is $85,000 – $95,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and overall qualifications.
