Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
• Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, restaurant policies, and services.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service.
• Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information and assistance as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
• Support the restaurant team during busy periods by helping with guest relations and ensuring all needs are met promptly.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least one (1) year of experience in upscale dining, luxury hospitality, nightlife venues, or high-volume guest-facing environments.
• Exceptional guest-service skills with the ability to create a warm, polished, and memorable first impression.
• Clear, professional communication and a confident, welcoming presence when interacting with guests.
• Bilingual communication skills, especially in English and Spanish, are preferred.
• Familiarity with reservation platforms and POS/guest-management systems to support accurate seating flow and communication.
• Impeccable personal presentation, reflecting the standards of a high-end dining environment.
• Ability to multitask gracefully in a fast-paced setting while maintaining composure, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Professional phone etiquette and the ability to handle guest inquiries with clarity and poise.
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, service-driven attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality.
