Maintaining the revenue and gross profit of each account ensuring they remain profitable in line with annual targets This individual is supported by the Regional Sales Manager, VP Territory Manager, National Customer Service team, Logistics and Sr. Leadership to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded. This person must be a dynamic “hunter”. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Identify and development of new business targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives, must be a hunter. Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in regional accounts. Coordinates the involvement of company personnel and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers expectations. Participates in a joint strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for sustainable growth. Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis. Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel. Manage all facets of the day to day account responsibilities Manage the broker network by utilizing budgets and expectations. This role requires approximately 80% travel across IL, WI, IA, MO, MN, ND, SD, NE, KS, OK and TX.
