Associate Attorney - Civil Litigation

Civil Litigation Attorney We are seeking a skilled civil defense Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil litigation with a focus on insurance defense, workers' compensation, and/or general liability cases. This role will involve representing clients in court, preparing legal documents, and providing expert legal advice to ensure favorable outcomes for our clients. Key Responsibilities Represent clients in civil litigation cases, including insurance defense and personal injury claims. Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. Conduct legal research and analysis to support client cases and strategies. Negotiate settlements and engage in dispute resolution processes on behalf of clients. Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, and depositions as necessary. Provide clients with expert legal advice and guidance throughout the litigation process. Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to develop case strategies and improve legal services. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in CA Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation, specifically in insurance defense and general liability cases. Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing civil litigation, workers' compensation, and related. Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Ability to handle multiple cases and prioritize effectively under pressure. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
