Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Tablet Reporting in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.73 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior areas, parking facilities, entry points, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with established procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for personnel and authorized guests. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols and promptly reporting observations to appropriate personnel. Document patrols, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
