Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and assessments to identify client needs and create tailored treatment plans.
• Deliver individual therapy, couple's therapy, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and methodologies.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on specific issues such as stress management, relationship skills, or trauma recovery.
• Empower clients by helping them develop effective coping strategies, problem-solving skills, and personalized stress reduction techniques.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals as needed to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and therapy notes in our electronic health record system.
• Engage in continual professional development through training opportunities, workshops, and keeping abreast of current practices and trends in therapy.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• Must possess a current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Minimum of two (2) years of post-graduate experience providing therapeutic services in a clinical setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport and trust with clients.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage a caseload efficiently.
• Comfort with electronic health records and various telehealth platforms to document and conduct therapy sessions.
• Adherence to ethical standards and confidentiality protocols as established by the profession.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a community health setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
• Previous experience providing group therapy sessions will be an added advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
