Apprentice Electrician

Position Scope The Level 1 Apprentice is an entry-level employee learning the electrical trade under the direct supervision of a licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician. This position focuses on safety, basic construction practices, tool identification, material handling, and foundational electrical installation skills. Location & Travel This role offers nationwide opportunities based on project needs, with project assignments typically lasting between 4 to 10 months. In addition to your hourly pay, you’ll receive a daily per diem to assist with living expenses while on assignment. Our CE&I Division delivers integrated controls, electrical, and instrumentation solutions for industrial and mission-critical infrastructure projects. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Report to work on time and prepared each day. Learn proper use and care of hand and power tools. Identify common electrical materials and components. Assist with material staging and inventory. Pull wire and install conduit under direct supervision. Assist with demolition and rough-in work. Maintain clean and organized work areas. Learn basic electrical theory and construction terminology. Complete required apprenticeship training and coursework. Education and Work Experience May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must possess knowledge skills and abilities for position and a willingness to learn with a positive attitude. Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision and basic math skills. Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in physically demanding environments Knowledge of the safe and efficient use of hand tools, power tools and layout tools. Why Join Us?
