Location: Rochester Hills, MI (100% Onsite) Duration: 6 - 12 Months contract (Temp to Hire) Pay Rate: $28/hr - $30/hr. on W2 Shift hour: Monday Friday, 5:00 AM 1:30 PM (occasional Saturdays)

Job Duties

Mechanical:

• Trouble shoot all types of mechanical failures to repair broken machines
• Machine Repair Change bearings, chain & sprockets, motors & gearboxes, parts replacements
• Ability read blueprints and exploded view drawings
• Able to diagnosis and trouble shoot simple non- visual problems
• Perform machine installation
• Requisition spare parts

Electrical:

• Ability to wire start/stop & relay control circuits
• Read electrical schematics and ladder diagrams
• Install motor and machine power wiring
• Trouble shoot relay logic controls
• Understand and diagnose PLC circuits Programming a bonus

Hydraulic/Pneumatic:

• Ability to change valves, cylinders, pumps and motors
• Ability to diagnosis complicated failures
• Read hydraulic schematics

Welding:

• Perform basic MIG welding
• Ability to torch cut carbon steel
• Process hot work permits

General:

• Follow work order procedure for repairs and improvements to equipment and facilities
• Assist in installation and start-up of new equipment and facility improvements
• Help identify critical machine spare parts and preventative maintenance requirements
• Work with other members of all shifts of maintenance staff for repair, Preventative Maintenance, and improvements to existing equipment
• Communication of project status with Maintenance Supervisor

Training Requirements:

• Work order system
• Lock-out/tag-out procedures
• Forklift License & Overhead Crane Operations
• Ability to operate a man and boom lift

Performance Measures:

• Equipment uptime
• On time completion of preventative maintenance and projects
• Appearance of facility
