Role summary / purpose

The Material Planning Logistics Supervisor position is a supervisory leadership role supported by on-the-job training development and opportunity for career progression. This role offers the chance to lead, develop, and empower a team in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly team that produces manufactured products and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements
• Ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching, standardized work, verifying lines are running safely and smoothly, and producing quality parts
• Drive to exceed personal and team goals by holding self and team to high performance standards through servant leadership
• Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teams

Requirements - education & experience

• 1 year of supervisory experience in a Material Planning and Logistics manufacturing environment

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends
• Resilience and detail orientation
• High integrity and ambition
