We are seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist to join our team in supporting clinical operations at two regional sites in Wilmington, NC. The successful candidate will provide radiotherapy treatment on Varian linacs and Siemens CT simulators across different clinics, floating between locations as needed. The role requires adherence to safety protocols, radiation safety procedures, and collaboration with medical staff. No additional dimensions or orientation are required as travelers will start directly in the clinic. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced therapists to contribute to patient care in a dynamic outpatient setting.

Minimum 2 years of experience

Clinic experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted

Proficient in Adult Acute Care; CT Simulation; MRI; PET Scan; Tumor Localization; Beam Modifying/Positioning; Block Cutting; CBCT/kV/mV Imaging; Wedges; Dose Calculation; Pinnacle (Philips); Eclipse (Varian); External Beam Therapy; IMRT; ARIA; Varian 21 ex/ix; Lift/Transfer Devices; Isolation Precautions; Radiation Safety; Use of Rapid Response/Code Teams; Treatment Site Simulation

BLS certification required

ARRT Certification required

Ratios: 1:5

Clinic accepts 13-week assignments only

Work 40 hours per week with shifts of 8x5 or 4x10 depending on clinic needs

Flexibility in shift hours: typically 8 am - 5 pm, occasionally 9 am - 6 pm

No call, float, or weekend work required

May be required to work during storm or disaster events, including hurricane teams

Aria

This role involves floating between two clinical sites

No dose calculations or block cutting required from the traveler

Shifts may occasionally be extended or adjusted to meet clinic needs
