Legal Billing Specialist

This position is responsible for:Serving as the primary lead for invoice processing, check keying, and financial record handling for the Legal Department. This position ensures legal and departmental invoices, check requests, reimbursements, and related financial items are processed accurately, promptly, and in compliance with internal controls. The Legal Billing Specialist works closely with Finance, Interchange, the Legal Operations Coordinator, and the Legal Administrative Assistants to maintain timely and accurate financial workflows across the department.Key Responsibilities:Serves as the primary owner of invoice processing for legal, litigation, legacy, and departmental payables.Serves as the primary person responsible for keying checks received by the Legal Department into the tracking spreadsheets and related financial logs.Scans and uploads supporting documentation for accounts payable and accounts receivable into Legal Tracker and other department systems as required.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:Ability to perform mathematical calculations and basic financial analysis.Ability to prepare correspondence related to legal and compliance matters in an accurate and timely manner.Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.Working Conditions:Work is performed in a normal office environment with little or no physical discomfort from weather changes or from noise, dust, dirt, and the like.Employee Benefits:Health, Dental and Vision InsurancePaid Time OffHolidays with PayLife InsuranceRetirement Plan and more!Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or G.E.D., associate’s degree preferred.andThree (3) years of related experience.Certifications/Licenses:Valid State Driver’s LicenseEqual Opportunity Employer: Veterans | Disabled #J-18808-Ljbffr
