Accounting Manager Los Angeles County, CA Contract Accounting Management $55/HR to $58/HR 08/12/2026 Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accounting Manager to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $55.00 to $58.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities Lead accounting operations by overseeing financial reporting close activities and general ledger management. Manage royalty licensing and other contractual reporting requirements while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Supervise accounting staff by reviewing work providing guidance and supporting professional development. Partner with operational and business teams to improve reporting processes and support strategic initiatives. Perform financial analyses and special projects that support management decision making and business objectives. Requirements Bring experience managing accounting operations and financial close processes in a professional environment. Demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting principles financial reporting and internal control practices. Possess experience supervising accounting personnel and reviewing accounting work for accuracy and completeness. Maintain proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills for reporting and analysis. Have experience in retail consumer products inventory related businesses or similar operational environments preferred. Qualifications Apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to improve processes and resolve accounting issues. Communicate effectively with leadership teams and cross functional stakeholders across the organization. Maintain exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines. Demonstrate a hands on leadership style with the ability to balance strategic and operational responsibilities. Bring experience with enterprise accounting systems royalty reporting audits or process improvement initiatives considered beneficial.
