As a Security Officer Driving Patrol in Bronx, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to stay active, respond to site needs, and represent Allied Universal with agility, reliability, teamwork, innovation, and integrity.

- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting concerns through proper channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout park grounds, buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, observe visitor activity, and assist with directing foot traffic and/or addressing questions while following site-specific rules and post orders.
- Support public-facing operations by reporting maintenance concerns, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations, and by communicating with local contacts when additional assistance is needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
