Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license for California
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric OT settings preferred
• Strong communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
• Ability to design and implement effective, individualized therapy plans
• Familiarity with IEP processes and relevant documentation requirements
• Compassionate, problem-solving mindset, with adaptability to dynamic school settings

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs related to fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEPs
• Provide direct OT services to students, both individually and in small groups
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to modify learning activities, ensuring accessibility for all learners
• Offer guidance, training, and resources to school teams and parents to maximize student participation
• Document interventions, student progress, and required reports in compliance with district and legal standards
• Attend IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress as a valued team member
