Job Summary:

Seeking a highly motivated Registered Nurse for a seasonal travel assignment in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This position requires delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring recovery and discharge procedures are safely and efficiently performed.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Provide post-anesthesia patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assessing patient recovery status.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following hospital protocols.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure safe patient transitions from PACU to next care stage.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care activities accurately and promptly in the EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to all policies and safety standards.
  
  
• 
  Support patient and family education regarding recovery procedures and post-discharge instructions.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid license as a Registered Nurse.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 1 year of current hospital PACU experience.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency with GE monitors and Meditech EMR.
  
  
• 
  Maintain active BLS and ACLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
  
  
• 
  Have pre-op experience and upbeat personality suited for a fast-paced setting.
