Apply now Job no: 539201 Work type: Staff Full-Time Location: Volusia Categories: Medicine/Physicians Department: 29049000 - MD-ANEST-COMMUNITY PRACTICE Classification Title: Regional CRNA Job Overview This UF Regional Physician and CRNA-based practice located in Daytona Beach is a collaborative community practice that covers a Level 2 trauma center, a surgery center, and a smaller non‑overnight call hospital. Responsibilities Provide supervised anesthesia for a broad scope of procedures including Neurosurgery, Interventional Stroke Care, Orthopedics, Vascular, Urology, Colorectal, Ophthalmology, General Surgery (including Bariatric Surgery), Routine Outpatient Pediatrics (over two years), Gynecology, and low to moderate volume Obstetrics supported by a Level 3 NICU. Self‑schedule approximately 80% of schedule; weekend backup call coverage split evenly, about 3 weekend calls per year. Provide call coverage during two high‑volume trauma weeks (Bikefest and Octoberfest). Work with CV‑trained anesthesiologists who provide cardiac anesthesia; CRNAs may cover these as needed. Dual RN/ARNP license (or working toward a master’s/Doctorate with COA accreditation; must obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support before start).
