Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individualized therapy strategies, perform thorough assessments, and provide evaluations tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to client care, actively participating in treatment planning and case consultations.

• Maintain precise and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, safeguarding client confidentiality at all times.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training sessions to stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health research and practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on clients who may experience various mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related conditions, and familial or relationship challenges. You will be instrumental in providing therapeutic support to individuals, couples, and families, ensuring that they receive the guidance and assistance they need to navigate their emotional landscapes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Connecticut is necessary.

• A minimum of two years of experience in counseling or a clinical setting, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic practices.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to counseling practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Annual salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
\n

• You will receive support with billing and documentation, allowing you to focus more on client care than administrative tasks.
