Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and evaluations, tailoring interventions to meet each client's unique needs.

• Utilize a range of therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to facilitate positive outcomes.

• Conduct initial assessments to diagnose mental health conditions, working collaboratively with clients to set therapeutic goals.

• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records in compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring confidentiality and ethical practice.

• Participate in case consultations with multidisciplinary teams, sharing insights and strategies to enhance overall client care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and workshops, thereby staying abreast of emerging trends and evidence-based practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with adult clients who are navigating various challenges, including stress management, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Our diverse clientele may also include individuals dealing with substance use and recovery. As a counselor at Gold Leaf Psychotherapy Center, you will play a crucial role in facilitating their healing journey and helping them develop effective coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A master's degree in professional counseling, psychology, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

• Capability to fulfill internal credentialing requirements in a clinical setting.

• At least one year of experience providing therapeutic services, including work with psychiatric patients and/or individuals dealing with substance use.

• Proven experience in conducting assessments, diagnoses, and delivering both individual and group therapy.

• Basic proficiency in computer systems, including clinical documentation software and telehealth platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n
