Holiday Production & Operations Lead

Bloom & Flourish is a Denver-based plant design business specializing in elevated plant design, moss art, seasonal installations, and immersive holiday décor experiences. During the holiday season, we transform commercial and public spaces through custom-designed seasonal installations, curated styling, and large-scale décor experiences that blend creativity with operational excellence. Position Summary This role supports our holiday design services and is a hands‑on operations and field leadership position focused on managing the execution of medium to large‑scale holiday décor projects from start to finish. The Operations Lead is a key leadership role within our Holiday team and plays a critical part in the successful execution of seasonal projects from production through installation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast‑paced environments, leads by example, communicates clearly, stays highly organized under pressure, and takes pride in building strong, efficient teams. You’ll help build and oversee daily workflows, coordinate crews and logistics, solve problems in real time, and help ensure projects are executed with excellence, professionalism, and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Holiday Production & Fabrication Execute projects based on design guides, mood boards, and creative direction Work hands‑on in fabrication with tools such as hot glue guns, drills, saws, ladders, floral wire, and paint materials Support the Creative Director while overseeing production team execution Operations Coordination & Project Planning Coordinate daily production schedules, installation timelines, crew assignments, and logistics Ensure materials, tools, rentals, and equipment are prepared ahead of each project Collaborate with design, warehouse, and installation teams to maintain efficient workflow and communication Help maintain and develop organized systems that support operational efficiency during peak season Field Leadership & Team Support Lead installation and production crews with professionalism, accountability, and clear communication Delegate tasks effectively while maintaining positive team morale Conduct team huddles and communicate daily priorities clearly Train and support seasonal crew members on workflow, safety, and installation standards Lead by example with a strong work ethic and team‑first mindset Inventory & Logistics Coordinate inventory preparation, packing, loading, and transportation for projects Track inventory usage, shortages, damaged items, and project materials Help maintain organized storage systems and efficient warehouse flow Coordinate rental trucks, lifts, tools, and install equipment as needed Quality Control & Problem Solving Maintain high standards for visual quality, organization, and execution Conduct quality‑control checks throughout production and installation Troubleshoot on‑site challenges quickly and professionally without compromising timelines Make field adjustments and styling refinements when necessary Administrative & Documentation Support Track project progress, team notes, labor hours, and completion updates Maintain installation logs and project photo documentation Communicate proactively with leadership regarding project status, challenges, and operational needs Qualifications 2+ years of experience in operations, event production, logistics, installations, or related field Experience leading teams or field crews in fast‑paced environments Strong organizational, communication, and time‑management skills Highly dependable with strong follow‑through and attention to detail Excellent problem‑solving ability and adaptability under pressure Comfortable with physical work, ladders, lifting 50+ lbs, and active job sites Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Experience driving box trucks is a plus Familiarity with décor installation, fabrication, staging, or creative production is preferred What Success Looks Like Projects are completed on time with strong organization and minimal last‑minute issues Teams feel supported, informed, and motivated Installations run smoothly and professionally Problems are solved proactively and calmly Inventory, timelines, and logistics are managed with consistency and accountability You help strengthen team culture through reliability, communication, and leadership Schedule & Compensation Schedule Extended hours, early mornings, and occasional weekends required during peak holiday season Why This Role Matters We are intentionally building a stronger, more organized, and highly collaborative team as we continue to grow.
