Accounts Receivable Specialist

We're Hiring: Accounts Receivable Specialist – Long-Term Care Pharmacy Position Type: Full-Time Legends Pharmacy is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing team. This position plays a vital role in supporting the financial health of our long-term care pharmacy operations while helping ensure residents receive the medications and services they need. Please note: We are currently seeking candidates residing in the San Antonio and surrounding areas. What You'll Do Submit and manage claims for Medicare Part D, Medicaid, private insurance, and third-party payers Conduct follow-up on outstanding claims and unpaid invoices Resolve denials, rejections, and billing discrepancies Reconcile payments, adjustments, and refunds Generate and review aging reports Collaborate with pharmacy operations, customer service, and billing teams to support efficient workflows Maintain compliance with HIPAA and applicable state and federal regulations What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required (associate degree preferred) Experience in healthcare accounts receivable, medical billing, or revenue cycle management Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment Long-term care pharmacy experience is a plus Must reside in the San Antonio or surrounding areas and be available to work onsite At Legends Pharmacy, our team is committed to delivering exceptional service and improving the lives of the patients and communities we serve.
