Physical Therapist - Outpatient Orthopedics

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

8-hour day shifts with the expectation of working up to 40 hours per week.

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our outpatient orthopedic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outpatient therapy and be comfortable with a patient load of 12-14 patients per day. You will also be expected to meet a productivity goal of 60 visits per week, with double-booking of follow-up visits anticipated.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Provide therapy interventions to improve patients' mobility and quality of life.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and clinics as needed for patient care.
• Float to other clinics as required, including locations in Durham, Apex, and surrounding areas.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Outpatient experience preferred.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Ability to float between multiple clinic locations.
