We’re currently hiring for open positions in the US and Canada. We operate in Canada as Engineered Lifting Systems and Equipment (ELS)/DBA Gorbel® Canada, and subsequent communication related to Canadian positions may show the ELS name. You may be contacted by phone by recruitment personnel based in either Canada or New York. Responsibilities Coordinate and execute New Employee Orientation on a monthly basis. Maintain and audit employee records and I-9 files in accordance with state and federal laws. Maintain mandatory corporate training schedules and records. Coordinate corporate signage and required postings in a professional and consistent means in keeping with corporate branding throughout the campus. Coordinate Service Award and Gravity Defy-er programs. Provide support for various corporate meetings, events, and functions; schedule and prepare meeting space, work with organizer on supplies and other items needed. Plan, arrange and oversee calendars, which includes scheduling of meetings, events, some travel arrangements, etc. Provide recruitment support including creating employee files, attending job fairs and events, and assisting with pre-employment requirements as needed. Complete new employee onboarding within Workday as needed. Contribute to and maintain accurate HRIS data. Respond to and route employee questions and concerns. Generate and prepare identified reports as required. Perform clerical functions such as photocopies, mails, scans and emails of documents. Qualifications Associate's degree or equivalent coursework required; Bachelor’s degree in related discipline preferred. 1+ years Human Resource experience. Basic understanding of human resource functions, reporting and record keeping requirements. Adept at problem solving, strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communication skills. High level of integrity and confidentiality; self-starter with initiative and ability to operate with minimal supervision. Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to communicate clearly; strong multitasking, prioritization and organizational abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and working knowledge of HRIS database systems. Knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team; able to work under pressure and with diverse groups. ADA physical/mental/workplace requirements: occasional lifting up to 25 lbs; extended desk/computer work. Compensation The wage range for this role takes into account various factors including skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and other business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: Min $17.59 - Max $26.39.
