As a Baker at Hani's Bakery + Café , you will be responsible for preparing a variety of breads, viennoiserie, pastries, cakes, cookies, pies, savory items, and seasonal specialties while helping maintain the exceptional quality standards our guests have come to expect. The job expectations:

• Prepare breads, viennoiserie, pastries, cakes, cookies, pies, savory items, and other baked goods according to Hani's recipes, quality standards, and production schedules.

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of baking and pastry techniques, production processes, ingredients, and the proper use of kitchen equipment. Experience with viennoiserie is preferred but not required.

• Efficiently execute assigned station responsibilities while maintaining consistency, organization, and attention to detail throughout production.

• Continuously expand your knowledge of ingredients, recipes, production methods, and seasonal menu offerings while maintaining the highest product standards.

• Communicate effectively, respectfully, and professionally with all team members throughout production and service.

• Maintain excellence in cleanliness, organization, and sanitation while following all food safety procedures, recipes, portioning standards, proper storage methods, and FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.

• Work collaboratively with the entire kitchen team to ensure production goals, catering orders, and daily service needs are completed accurately and on time.

• Help maintain product quality, identify opportunities to reduce waste, and contribute to a positive, efficient, and supportive kitchen environment.

What we need from you:

• 0–1 year of professional bakery, pastry, or culinary experience.

• Strong interest in baking and pastry with a willingness to learn and grow in a professional production environment.

• Experience with viennoiserie is preferred but not required.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

• Ability to walk or stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Availability to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.

• Expected to work approximately 40–50 hours per week.

• English fluency is required; additional languages are preferred but not mandatory.
